About Us

Here at Stars and Stitches, we aim to provide a safe space for those seeking to overcome their difficulties.

We do this by providing community art workshops and professional art therapy for those with disabilities and other stigmatised experiences. We run art based projects such as poetry and art workshops, plays and word based art activities, that all aim to advance personal well being. We also hold artist residencies and creative training for staff on mental health wards.

We aim to create continued professional development for therapists, including training that focuses on stigmatised topics such as coercive control and emotional abuse.
